Uplifting action a true king crowned
I love the Lord of the Rings movies. The back drop is beautiful, good vs evil with alot of wonmderful charaters. I love the fact that the heroes are the little people, the elves are my favorites

One of the BEST Trilogies ever made.
This is legitimately is one of the best trilogies ever made, if-not the best. It’s a Fantasy, Adventure in the medevial-like based, although that may not seem like your cuppa’ tea for say, I assure you it’ll be much better than it sounds.-The actual quality and effort put into the filming is outstanding, majority of it is actual scenery not green-screens, there isn’t much animation in the movie, that gives it a very real feel, even though they’re fighting against a fantasy monster(s).-The acting itself is rather flawless, they’re are some hiccups from time to time like any movie will but for the most part the emotions really come through the screen. The story itself is quite the adventure, it’s serious enough to keep the attention of any audience, although it may be a little violent for some younger children as there are many violent battles throughout the triology.*PS I actually recommend watching ‘The Hobbit’ triology first. Although Lord of the Rings came out more than a decade prior, the Hobbit is based on what happened BEFORE the Lord of the Ring conflict(s) arose. You’ll be able to understand a many details much better if they are watched them in that order. The Hobbit (First two movies) are a more comedic/animated style Kid Friendly, it’s very enjoyable for both parents and children alike. (The third Hobbit movie gets a little violent but still considerably less than any of the Lord of the Rings).Read full review

    Can I review Tolkien?
I couldn’t say anything that everyone doesn’t already know. This is The Hero’s Journey (in the sense that Joseph Campbell gave it) at its highest level. The books were spellbinding and while a movie is never up to the story telling quality of the book these movies (Lord of the Rings trilogy) is excellent. I believe it is the best epic adventure I have every seen. And I became quite infatuated with Cate Blanchett.

    Good entertainment
This is the 3rd movie in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It is full of action and drama, and although it doesn’t follow the book exactly, it holds to the spirit of the tale and does a great job bringing it to the screen.
